This important victory in the War on Terror is a testament to the bravery and sacrifice of our military heroes who have put their lives on the line to defend our Nation in the years since 9/11. In the days following September 11th, the worst terrorist attack on American soil, I vividly remember meeting and consoling the families of those who lost husbands and wives, sons and daughters, mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters and friends and coworkers, as they mourned the loss of their loved ones. We can never forget those who were lost and those who continue to serve our Nation and sacrifice for the sake of our freedom.
