Senator Owen H. Johnson presented Richard W. Walser, Esq. with a New York State Senate Citation for his 53 years of service as Legal Counsel to the Bay Shore-Brightwaters Public Library.  Friends and colleagues joined with Senator Johnson to honor Mr. Walser with a celebration at the Bay Shore Gallery in Brightwaters on September 30, 2011.

“Richard Walser has been a constant source of knowledge and support for the Bay Shore-Brightwaters Library for 53 years and will be sorely missed,” Senator Johnson said.  “I want to thank him for his service to the library and the community and wish him the best in all of his future endeavors.”
