New York State Senator Kenneth P. LaValle was graded "A" by New Yorkers for Better Libraries for his support of libraries, sponsorship of library priority legislation, and votes on library legislation the group announced recently.
"Our public libraries are invaluable community resources that deserve to have their mission supported in every way possible," Senator LaValle said.
In August librarians in Senator LaValle’s district came together to thank him for getting additional aide for libraries in the budget this year and for his participation on the State Senate Committee on Libraries.
