“ As my brothers and sisters of the Jewish faith prepare to embark on the beginning of the Jewish High Holidays, I want to wish you a Happy New Year. Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur mark a time of prayer and reflection and serves as an opportunity for all Americans to come together and focus on unity, happiness and peace. I would like to send a citywide greeting  to all celebrating Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kipper and a prayer that the coming year brings peace, health and prosperity - L'shanah Tovah."
