Albany – State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn) has issued the following statement regarding the State Senate approval of a Resolution, J. 3384, honoring Timothy Cardinal Dolan:
"Today, Roman Catholics and people of faith across our great City and State stand together to show our thanks to a man who has given so much to his community and the people of New York. I am proud to have co-sponsored this Resolution, passed today by the State Senate, to simply say thank you and congratulations to a man whose life is an example of how to live as a servant of God. He is someone who I personally look up to and I look forward to working with him for the betterment of all people."
