Brooklyn – State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn) will host a press event on Friday, January 27, 2012, at 11:00 a.m., honoring the Green Spa and Wellness Center on their selection by Day Spa magazine as the #1 Wellness Center in America. An official New York State Senate Proclamation will be presented to the Spa owners to celebrate the national recognition of a local small business.

The Green Spa and Wellness Center, which has been in business since 1998, and is located at 8804-3rd Avenue. Members of the community and the Third Avenue Merchants are expected to attend the event.
