Brooklyn – State Senator Marty Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn) today honored the Green Spa and Wellness Center on their selection by Day Spa magazine as the #1 Wellness Center in America.

Senator Golden stated, “Since 1998, the Green Spa and Wellness Center has been a leader in the Bay Ridge business community. Today, we celebrate their recent recognition which has named them a nationwide leading spa. I congratulate sisters Sheila and Maureen Brody, and partner Maria Ingardia, on this honor and wish them much continued success.”

Golden continued, “In my visit this morning, I was able to see that the Spa is built around a goal which is to help clients achieve well-being by providing quality service. The eyes of spa goers across America are on Bay Ridge and the Green Spa and Wellness Center.”

The three floor Spa located on 3rd Avenue currently employees 50 people. Senator Golden presented an official New York State Senate Proclamation to the Spa owners to celebrate the national recognition of a local small business.
