Brooklyn – State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn) has issued the following statement regarding arrests made by the 68th Precinct in connection with the recent tire slashings in the community:
“The 68th Precinct continues to make sure that we live in one of the safest communities in the City of New York, and those who proudly wear the uniform deserve to be thanked for this arrest. We will not tolerate acts that impede upon our quality of life such as tire slashings. To find your car with damaged tires is not only a personal nuisance and financial expense, but it causes concern for all residents on the blocks where it is happening.
I thank Captain Richard DiBlasio and the 68th Precinct for getting these three individuals off the streets so to hopefully it will bring an end to this recent series of tire slashings.”
