June 20, 2012
State Senator Mike Nozzolio recently honored Syracuse University Football legend Floyd Little on the floor of the historic New York State Senate chamber. Little is the only three time All-America running back to play for Syracuse and still holds the University's career record for touchdowns. In 1967, he was picked as a first round draft choice by the Denver Broncos, with whom he was named an American Football League All-Star. He was later inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame and the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Little was presented with a special Legislative Resolution that the Senate enacted recognizing his outstanding athletic career and service to the community.
