Elaine Incandela of Deer Park was among the many community members who met with Senator Owen H. Johnson at his “Shed The Meds” event at the Islip Fire Department on June 30th. 

Senator Johnson said, “I’d like to thank all who dropped off unused or expired prescription drugs for helping to keep them out of the wrong hands and also out of our water supply.  A special thanks to the Suffolk County Police Department who helped collect and safely dispose of the unwanted prescription drugs.”
