Senator Fuschillo to Sponsor Free Citizen Cpr Course in North Bellmore

Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) will be sponsoring a free Citizen CPR course for residents on Saturday, June 1st in North Bellmore.
The course will be held at the North Bellmore Library (1551 Newbridge Road) from 10:00 am-11:00 am. Trained CPR professionals from Bellmore-Merrick EMS will instruct residents on what to do when in an emergency situation where someone needs CPR.
Program participants will learn live-saving, hands-only CPR techniques from a certified CPR instructor and be able to practice CPR chest compressions on a mannequin. AED demonstrations will also be performed.
There is no minimum age or prerequisites to participate. Those interested in taking part in this free program must register prior to the event by calling Senator Fuschillo’s office at 516-882-0630.
