NEW CITY – Senator David Carlucci (D-Rockland/Westchester) will host a Weatherization and Energy Efficiency Workshop to offer residents tips on how to conserve energy and save money on their homes. The workshop will be held in collaboration with the Association for Energy Affordability, Inc. Experts will discuss a number of ways in which homeowners can conduct energy audits, learn about its environmental benefits, green building design and construction, and more.
"Modernizing your homes is the surest way homeowners can save hundreds of dollars on their utility bills while cutting down on energy consumption," said Senator Carlucci. "Particularly during these summer months, now is the time residents need to think about investing in energy efficient appliances as they ramp up their energy usage. I urge all residents to take advantage of this informational seminar to learn about the newest programs available to them and their families."
The event will be held tomorrow, Wednesday July 10th at 7:00pm at the Street School Community Center, 31 Zukor Drive, New City.
