Today, because of the recently signed Rockland County Deficit Financing Law, the New York State Comptroller has issued several binding recommendations for Rockland County’s budget.

Senator David Carlucci (D-Rockland/Westchester) said, “The Comptroller’s report has already identified several areas of concern. I trust that the County Executive will work together with the County Legislature in order to make adjustments and comply with these necessary recommendations as soon as possible.”
