Ritchie Joins Carthage Elementary Students to Celebrate Dr. Seuss

State Senator Patty Ritchie joined students at Carthage Elementary Friday, to celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss.
During the event, which capped off “National Read Across America Week,” Senator Ritchie read the book “The Cat in the Hat” to students.
In addition, Senator Ritchie also signed the school’s constitution, which was recently written by students and their principal.
