Ritchie Meets WITH Highway Superintendents

State Senator Patty Ritchie recently met with county and town highway superintendents from Oswego, Jefferson and St. Lawrence Counties in her Albany office.
Highway officials explained to Senator Ritchie that while last year’s State Budget increased funding for state roads by $1.16 billion, there was no increase in funding for local roads.
Senator Ritchie agreed to work with her colleagues to try and secure an additional $100 million in local highway funding to be distributed statewide for the use of repairs and improvements to local roads, bridges and culverts.
