STATEMENT FROM SENATOR GIPSON IN OPPOSITION TO THE SATELLITE TAX

“Singling out satellite television customers with new, arbitrary fees will take money away from thousands of families across my district," said Senator Terry Gipson. "This proposed tax disproportionately impacts upstate New Yorkers, many of whom live in rural areas and have no other alternative for watching television.  I will work with my colleagues in the Legislature to ensure that the state does not levy this tax.”
