A special "Watchdog Report" in the Sunday, December 15, 2013 Star-Gazette highlighted the reemergence of meth across the Southern Tier and devoted special examination to the need for a state law to disclose to potential homebuyers if a residence is the site of a former meth lab.

In additon to pushing for the enactment of legislation in 2014 to address the hazards of meth labs, Senator O'Mara will also continue to sponsor to futher outlaw the sale and manufacturing meth.
