Senator George Maziarz and Assemblyman Steve Hawley are pleased to announce that key economic development assistance for the relocation of Claims Recovery Financial Services (CRFS) to a larger facility in Albion has been approved in Albany.
Specifically, the Office of Community Renewal has awarded the Village of Albion a Community Development Block Grant in the amount of $744,165.62 to facilitate the expansion.
Senator George Maziarz said, “It is important to mark the final approval of this anticipated funding. This award is a sure sign that the CRFS expansion project is moving forward. The Village of Albion, CRFS, and Talis Equity are all to be commended for their commitment to growing a local business to remarkable heights of success.”
Assemblyman Steve Hawley said, “It’s exciting to see a home grown business be successful and make a commitment to Orleans County. This important expansion will bring further employment opportunities close to home for Orleans County families.”
