Senator Jack M. Martins (R-Mineola), Legislator Rose Marie Walker, and Legislator Laura Schaefer are sponsoring a hurricane preparedness forum in Hicksville on Thursday, September 18th from 7-9 pm at Levittown Hall (201 Levittown Parkway, Hicksville).
Members of the Nassau County Department of Emergency Management will be on hand to discuss all safety, planning, response, and coordination for natural disasters, in addition to answering any questions residents may have about hurricane/severe storm preparedness. The seminar speaks in detail about weather conditions, sheltering, and making a plan.
