“The flash flooding that ravaged parts of Sullivan County this summer damaged our communities and disrupted so many lives.  I applaud Governor Cuomo for securing funding for the communities in desperate need of assistance that were destroyed this summer.  This money not only allows us to repair damage and improve the resiliency of our infrastructure to withstand future storms, it restores hope for so many people.  I am pleased the Governor did not forget the people who cannot help themselves.”
