Senator John Flanagan (2^nd Senate District) recently met Dix Hills resident and UFC Middleweight Champion Chris Weidman during a visit to an area school.  The Hofstra University graduate won his title in July of 2013 and has successfully defended it two times.

“Chris is a true gentleman who has worked hard for all that he has achieved.  It was great to meet this champion and I wish him continued success in the future,” stated Senator Flanagan.
