Brooklyn – State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn), a member of the State Senate Committee on Homeland Security, Military and Veteran Affairs, today joined his colleagues in the State Senate, announcing support and continued efforts to see this be the year that the New York Jobs for Heroes Program State law.
The New York Jobs for Heroes Program (S. 2803B), co-sponsored by Senator Golden, would give State contract preference to service-connected disabled veteran owned small business in New York State.
Senator Marty Golden stated, “We must make sure that the men and women who defend us, can provide for their families. This must be the year that the NY Jobs for Heroes Program becomes law, for as more and more veterans are returning from war each and every day, this program must be up and running as soon as possible.”
