Senator Rubén Díaz and Sanford Rubenstein to hold Press Conference Today at 4pm with Family of Nursing Home Rape Victim

New York State Senator Reverend Rubén Díaz (D-Bronx) and Civil Rights Attorney Sanford Rubenstein will hold a press conference today at 4pm at Senator Diaz's District Office located at 900 Rogers Place in the Bronx. They will be joined by family members of the 64-year old woman who was assaulted and raped in a Bronx nursing home.

According to Senator Rev. Díaz who serves as the Ranking Member of the State Senate Committee on the Aging: "As a pastor and an elected official, I am charged with the responsibility of helping those in need. I commend the New York City's Police Department for their swift arrest of the man accused of these egregious charges, and I deeply appreciate Sanford Rubenstein's involvement. I share the sentiment of the victim's family that Sanford Rubenstein's efforts will offer with some level of civil justice, and I will continue to keep their family in my prayers."
