Statement from Senator Catharine Young (R,C,I – Olean) on the Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency’s purchase of the former ConAgra facility in Dunkirk:

“We have been working to breathe new life into the ConAgra facility since the devastating news the company was leaving. With the IDA now in possession of the building, area residents can be assured that great care will be taken to retain a buyer who understands that job creation is paramount. I will continue to do everything in my power to assist the IDA in their efforts to quickly retain an employer so we can get people back to work.”
