Senator Jesse Hamilton Hosts Community Resource Fair in Brownsville

Connecting neighborhood residents to an array of opportunities and services
(Brooklyn, NY – June 22, 2015) – On Saturday afternoon, Senator Hamilton hosted many Brownsville residents at a Community Resource Fair at P.S. 150 Christopher. The Community Resource Fair included important information about senior and veteran services, affordable housing opportunities, current job openings, as well as information from city and state agencies. The Community Resource Fair also featured children’s activities, live entertainment, and light refreshments for attendees.
Senator Hamilton extends thanks to colleagues, Assembly Member Latrice Walker, Council Member Darlene Mealy, and the many groups who partnered in making the Community Resource Fair such a great a success, P.S. 150 Christopher, Uncommon Schools, NYC HRA, FDNY, Brookdale Hospital, New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG), Brownsville Partnership, NYU Dental, HealthFirst, Douglas Turner, IDNYC, Brooklyn Workforce 1, HPD, and the Legal Aid Society. Senator Hamilton extends a special thanks to everyone in the community who was able to attend.
