(Brooklyn, NY - July 16, 2015) - Yesterday, Senator Jesse Hamilton spoke out at a rally with tenants, colleagues, housing advocates, and neighborhood residents. Senator Hamilton said, "I stand in support of the tenants of 60 Clarkson – in solidarity with neighbors, advocates, and other elected officials. I am committed to stopping the marginalization of residents of our neighborhoods. I salute all the groups gathered here today that work so diligently to ensure tenants can vindicate their right to safe, affordable, and livable housing." Groups that organized the rally include: Tenants & Neighbors, Crown Heights Tenant Union, and Prospect Lefferts Gardens Neighborhood Association.
