(New York, NY)- Senator Serrano expressed content on the launch of the M86 Select Bus Service. With 25,000 riders a day, the crosstown M86 carries more passengers per mile than any other New York City bus route. As such, the M86 Select Bus Service will reduce travel times for thousands of New Yorkers.

"I am happy to see that the heavily utilized and often overcrowded 86th street crosstown bus route will be alleviated by the addition of select bus service. The residents of my Senate district who live and work on the Upper East Side and Upper West Side will have a quicker and much easier commute crosstown. Many thanks to the Department of Transportation for implementing this crucial service," said Senator Serrano.
