State Senator Kevin Parker and Health Agencies Provide Free Mammograms For Local Residents

For women in the U.S., breast cancer death rates are higher than those for any other cancer besides lung cancer, and early detection is a very important part of combating the disease. That is why during the period of October 19th - 21st, State Senator Kevin Parker hosted his Annual Mammography Clinic to provide free testing to women who do not have the health insurance. This event was held in conjunction with Brookdale Hospital and Medical Center.
