Brooklyn – State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn), in conjunction with Xaverian High School, will host Brooklyn’s Annual Senior Idol show, a popular musical contest featuring talented senior citizens, this Saturday, October 3, 2015, beginning at 7:00 P.M., in the school auditorium located at 7100 Shore Road in Brooklyn.

Over thirty Brooklyn residents 50 years and older auditioned in early September from which the finalists were selected for Saturday’s show. The winner will be selected through the votes of the audience and the judges. The prize for the winner is $500 sponsored by Senator Marty Golden. All proceeds from the ticket sales to the event benefit the Xaverian High School music program.
