State Senator Patty Ritchie toured St. Lawrence County’s Social Services offices with Samuel Roberts, the newly appointed State Commissioner of Temporary and Disability Assistance.

“With Northern New York’s high poverty and high unemployment rates, it’s important for Albany officials to understand the unique challenges we face,” said Senator Ritchie. “Having Commissioner Roberts personally visit to talk to local officials and staff  provides him with an understanding you can’t get in Albany.”
