“I know there will be challenges ahead. I am excited to meet those challenges together. I believe we need leaders in Albany who will continue to stand up for the people of Niagara, Orleans, and Monroe County - the farmer, the small businessman, the veteran, the student, and the family. We need someone who will stand up to an increasingly out of touch and sometimes out of control state governor and say 'no.' But we also need someone who is both courageous and pragmatic enough to work across partisan divides for solutions to our state’s most pressing problems. I have every intention of being that leader, that senator. With your help and with God’s, we can ensure the future, one day at a time, will be brighter than the past.”
