Senator Serino Honors Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY—Senator Sue Serino (R, C, I—Hyde Park) released the following statement today paying tribute to the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.:

“Today we honor a man who showed us that the power of a dream is all that you need to change the world. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is a real American hero who embodied the ideals our nation was founded upon: freedom, justice, and equality. 

In light of the recent tragedies and tensions that have reverberated  across the world, Dr. King’s message bears repeating. I hope everyone will join me today in honoring and remembering the man who gave his life to make our nation, and our world a better place.”
