“Today’s announcement that the Seneca Nation of Indians; Allegany and Chautauqua Counties; the City of Olean; and the Rochester-Genesee Regional Transportation Authority in Livingston County will receive a total of more than $5.6 million in upgrades and new equipment is exciting news for area taxpayers and commuters. Reliable transportation systems are a critical component to improving the quality of life for people in rural communities. Having dependable busses that run on a consistent schedule will help more individuals achieve economic success and prosperity. The upgrades also will ensure more reliable transportation for people getting to medical appointments and other locations. I strongly support these investments because they will be a boon for our community.”
