Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) recently honored three long-time members of the Port Washington Fire Department for their many years of community service.

Senator Martins sponsored legislative resolutions, which were passed by the New York State Senate, honoring firefighters Ron Henderson (50 years of service), Thomas Tobin (50 years of service), and Donald Reese (25 years of service) for their devoted service.  With passage of the legislative resolutions, their contributions to the community will forever be part of the New York State Senate’s official record.

“All volunteer firefighters deserve our respect and gratitude, but these three men deserve special recognition for their decades of community service.  Thank you to Ron, Thomas, and Donald for their many years of brave and selfless service to the residents of Port Washington,” said Senator Martins.
