Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) recently welcomed Jordan Lerner, a student at Schreiber High School in Port Washington, to the State Capitol in Albany, where he was performing as part of the New York State School Music Association’s (NYSSMA) annual “Music In Our Schools Month.”

Jordan, a baritone saxophone player, performed with the All-State Instrumental Jazz Ensemble in the Empire State Plaza for an audience of legislators, staff members, and capitol visitors.  Senator Martins met Jordan following the performance and congratulated him on being selected as an All-State Musician.
