The NYS Department of Corrections and Community Supervision is starting a new correction officer recruitment effort. Under the auspices of the New York State Department of Civil Service, a new examination will be held on April 9, 2016. The filing deadline for this examination is February 24, 2016. Interested persons may apply on-line or donwload examination information and applications at the Department of Civil Service website at www.cs.ny.gov/exams.
