A Big Win for the Bucs: Community Thanks Ritchie for Funding to Save Sports Programs
July 1, 2016
Students, parents and educators from the Oswego City School District are saying “thanks” to State Senator Patty Ritchie for her help in securing $150,000 in funding to help restore sports programs in the school district.
This week, the Oswego Bucs Boosters sent Senator Ritchie a special photo, that included community members holding signs of thanks for her.
Senator Ritchie’s support for the district’s sports programs builds on her past efforts to create a brighter future for families in Central New York. Since 2011, she has helped to improve learning opportunities in the region by delivering $987,000 in funding to schools and libraries throughout Oswego County.
