State Senator Patty Ritchie has announced that several local students from Jefferson, Oswego and St. Lawrence Counties recently completed internships with her office.

Students who interned throughout the summer include:

• Ben Hare of South Jefferson High School;
• Maggie King, a graduate of Sandy Creek High School and a current student at Lasell College;
• Emma Renzi, a graduate of Immaculate Heart Central High School and a current student at SUNY Binghamton;
• Sarah Coon of Carthage High School;
• Matt Mende, a graduate of Hugh C. Williams High School and a current student at West Virginia University; and
• Jacob Shaver, a graduate of Ogdensburg Free Academy and a current student at SUNY Potsdam
