State Senator Patty Ritchie honored local senior Beulah Walrath of Brownville for her spirit and community contributions at her Jefferson County Senior Health and Wellness Fair, which was held Wednesday in Watertown.

At the event, Beulah was recognized with the “Senior Spirit” award for her enthusiasm and zest for life.  Known for her spirited dancing at Senator Ritchie’s Senior Fairs and other local events, throughout her lifetime Beulah has been involved in countless volunteer efforts that aim to improve the North Country.
