ALBANY, NY— On May 5, 2016 Senator Sue Serino (R, C, I—Hyde Park) honored Cadet Brett S. VanBuren U.S.M.A., Class of 2019 at ‘West Point Day’ in Albany. Serino had the opportunity to recognize VanBuren for his service and commitment to our nation on the floor of the State Senate during Wednesday’s Session.
“West Point has turned out some of our nation’s greatest leaders and it is so inspiring to see so many young people stepping up to the plate,” said Senator Serino. “With a passion for legal studies, Brett has a very bright future ahead of him. We wish these brave young cadets the very best and we thank them for their selfless sacrifice and dedication to our nation.”
