VALHALLA, NY - Senator Terrence Murphy stepped into history when he toured the Touro College of Dental Medicine at New York Medical College in Valhalla. Touro is the first New York college of dental medicine in the state in fifty years. Senator Murphy was a strong supporter in the college's efforts to secure funding from New York State.
"I am happy to be associated with this fine organization, which will continue to expand its educational services, providing patients in communities in the Hudson Valley and the Bronx with quality dental care," said Senator Murphy. "The Touro College of Dental Medicine will produce expertly trained, empathetic professionals for generations to come."
The state-of-the-art facility includes an advanced digital simulation lab, a clinical facility, a pediatric dentistry clinic, an oral and maxillofacial surgery clinic, classrooms, and a computerized testing center.
