Ritchie Meets With NYSCOPBA To Talk Prison Safety
March 17, 2017
State Senator Patty Ritchie recently met with representatives of the New York State Correctional Officers and Police Benevolent Association (NYSCOPBA) in Albany.
At the meeting, which also included North Country Assemblyman and former corrections officer Billy Jones, the group discussed staffing at state facilities—including Senator Ritchie’s legislation (S.2949-A) that would help ensure correctional facilities across the state have adequate staffing—and the important work done by corrections officers.
