State Senator Rob Ortt (R,C,I-North Tonawanda) joined members of the Olcott Fire Company to announce he has secured $130,000 for the volunteer fire department. The funding will be used to replace a 15-year-old fire truck with a new Heavy Duty Response Truck that will allow members to assist with ALS support in neighboring municipalities. The announcement was made before the fire company’s annual installation ceremony of its new officers. Senator Ortt assisted in honoring the 2017 officers and longtime members for their service, dedication and commitment to the local communities they serve.
