The East Side Access project is critically important because it will ensure commuter reliability to thousands of Long Islanders and will stimulate local economies by allowing for new development and opportunities in our region. Amtrak must step up and deliver on its commitments, and both Amtrak and the MTA must keep this project on schedule and prevent hardworking taxpayers from footing potential increased costs.
