Thanks to the local Library Directors who took time to meet with me today to discuss their priorities for the 2018 legislative session and state budget. I have always been proud to be a leader and advocate in the State Legislature for increased funding and resources for our libraries. While the number of books in libraries has changed over the years, the importance and impact they have on the people they serve remains the same.
Whether it is Children's Story Time, Adult Continuing Education courses or any of the other programs they offer, libraries continue to be an valuable resource and gathering place for residents throughout our community. I am pleased to continue to support their services.
