“The Governor is pursuing an arbitrary (and impossible) deadline to achieve a political goal - green energy. In addition, he is doing it solely through regulatory agencies and without legislative input. The loser here: Upstate and Western New York. Not only are corporate wind farms popping up in our back yards, not only are we sending Niagara's power downstate; now Upstate and Western New York ratepayers will be charged hundreds of millions to subsidize Long Island wind farms.”
