During this painful time, it is important that we come together in one collective voice to offer our support for the victims and their families and keep the lights of Hanukkah burning brightly. Since the attack late Saturday, I have been speaking with residents, law enforcement, and fellow elected officials, and I am reminded how resilient we are in Rockland County and New York State. An attack on one of us will be met with the forceful unity of diverse neighbors who will not allow hate to take refuge in our community.
 
We must unite in denouncing this act of anti-Semitism and domestic terrorism and stand in solidarity with our Jewish brothers and sisters to stop targeted violence."
