#Jobs! #Jobs! #Jobs! Today's announcement that Hickey Freeman is creating 80 new jobs, retaining 420 current jobs and continuing its long legacy in Rochester is exciting news. The state's investment of $4 million was critically important to keeping the Hickey Freeman factory open and the jobs in Rochester. While some of my New York City colleagues have recently rejected these public-private partnerships, the reality is that they help create jobs for our local workforce and aid our local economy.
