Today is Animal Advocacy Day at the State Capitol! As a dog owner and lover myself, I have been proud to support legislation to better protect our pets and ensure their humane treatment. Pets are an important part of countless families across New York and serve as friends and companions for so many people. Whether you are a dog-person, cat-lover or owner of another type of pet, we can all agree that they should be treated with love, care and kindness.
