Griffo statement on HECap funding for Utica College and Clarkson University

New York State Senate Deputy Minority Leader Joseph Griffo, R-I-C-Rome, released a statement today following the announcement that Clarkson University and Utica College will receive funding as part of the Higher Education Capital Matching Grant Program.
Clarkson University will receive $750,000 for the renovation of the Educational Resources Center Atrium, including the purchase and installation of equipment. Utica College will use the $312,711 in funding for campus-wide improvements to safety and security equipment.
Deputy Minority Leader Griffo’s statement is below:
“This funding will assist Clarkson University and Utica College with important projects that will help both schools continue to provide a premier, quality education to students from around the world in a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment. These grants also will help to grow the already strong presence of both campuses in the Mohawk Valley, North Country and beyond.”
